“Single Stream Recycling” is cheap, convenient, and makes recycling easy. With Single Stream Recycling all of your recyclable items will be picked up at your home with no sorting required. Participating garbage haulers will provide you with the wheeled container and you simply fill it up, wheel it out to the curb, and they pick it up. In addition, you can recycle more items than you can on your own. Not only do your bottles, cans, and newspapers go into the bin, you can now add all your junk mail, envelopes, file folders, office paper, cereal and gift boxes, paper bags, phone books, #1 through #7 plastics, metal pots and pans, empty aerosol cans, paper juice and milk containers, and many other items!
