Clean and dry, broken down boxes.
Not Accepted: Styrofoam or other packing materials; Wax coated boxes.
CHIPBOARD AND PAPERBOARD ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT THIS LOCATION: These items include cereal boxes, dry food boxes, paper towel rolls, soda cases, and cartons.
GLASS
Remove caps, lids, tops. Rinse and labels may be left on. Separate by color. Blue glass may be recycled with Green glass.
Not Accepted: Candle jars; Vases; Plate glass; Mirrors; Auto glass; Ceramics; Window glass; TV picture tubes; Fiberglass; China; Earthen ware; Pottery; Pyrex/Cooking glass; Drinking glass; Light bulbs.
MAGAZINES/NEWSPAPERS
Should be dry.
JUNK MAIL, OFFICE PAPER, WRAPPING PAPER/CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT THIS LOCATION.
PLASTICS
Rinse thoroughly and flatten. Leave labels on. Separate by type of plastic.
ACCEPTED: #1 – PETE – soda bottles and other food containers.
#2 – HDPE – gallon milk jugs and detergent bottles.
NOT ACCEPTED: Butter, cottage cheese, or other bowls; Oil or anti-freeze containers; Plastic Toys.
